The Great Ashby Community Centre is managed by Great Ashby Community Centre Management Association (GACCMA), a charity whose aim is to ‘…provide a balanced and vibrant community facility which provides a wide range of community facilities to as broad and diverse a population as can be effectively achieved.’ [GACCMA’s Charity Activities as listed on the Charity Commission website.]

As a charity that is also a company limited by guarantee, we have a board made up of trustees from the local community.

We are a diverse group of people, with many varied skills but we would love for more people to join us as trustees and help us make sure that Great Ashby has the best community centre in the area.

With our Treasurer looking to retire in the not too distant future, we are particularly looking for someone with accountancy skills.  We would also love to hear from people who have design and marketing knowledge and could help us with making sure that everyone knows what a great facility we have here in Great Ashby.

Being a trustee isn’t as scary as it sounds.  All we ask is that you attend 6 meetings a year (odd numbered months of the year) and be willing to share your enthusiasm and knowledge from your ‘real life’.
