The Great Ashby Community Centre is managed by Great Ashby Community Centre Management Association (GACCMA), a charity whose aim is to ‘…provide a balanced and vibrant community facility which provides a wide range of community facilities to as broad and diverse a population as can be effectively achieved.’ [GACCMA’s Charity Activities as listed on the Charity Commission website.]

As a charity that is also a company limited by guarantee, we have a board made up of trustees from the local community.

We are a diverse group of people, with many varied skills but we would love for more people to join us as trustees and help us make sure that Great Ashby has the best community centre in the area.

Being a trustee isn’t as scary as it sounds.? All we ask is that you attend 11 meetings a year (we meet on the second Wednesday of each month except August), take part in our Book Swap events and Trustee Days when you can and be willing to share your enthusiasm and knowledge from your ‘real life’.
