• Parties:

CHILDREN’S PARTIES – The Main Hall and kitchen can be hired for children’s parties on Saturdays and Sundays. The hire is £70 for a 4 hour period, usually an hour each side of a 2 hour party for set up and clear up. There is a returnable £50 bond we hold over the weekend of the party to encourage people to leave the centre tidy. Contact the Centre Manager, tel: (01438 365392) to see if there is availability for your preferred date;

18TH & 21ST PARTIES will only be considered if they are to be family occasions, and to be appropriately supervised. The Centre will require details of those who are to supervise the event, at the time of booking. The Centre may require a higher Bond than usually held for evening parties.

The Main Hall and kitchen may be hired for Christening Celebrations on a Sunday afternoon, for a five-hour period from 12.30pm; contact the Centre Manager, tel: (01438 365392) for details and availability;

Friday & Saturday evening parties – If you’d like to hire the centre to celebrate an evening birthday party or special anniversary, the cost of hiring the Main Hall and kitchen is £170. A returnable bond of £100 is held over the weekend of the event to encourage people to leave the centre tidy. Under our premises licence all music and alcohol sales must stop at 11.00pm. Bar Facilities

The Centre does not hold a licence to sell alcohol. The cost of the Mobile Bar is to be met separately by the hirer. Note – The Centre does not provide drinking glasses.

The Centre is an ideal venue for family parties and community events. It is also hired on a regular weekly basis – both during the daytime and in the evenings – by groups and organisations covering a wide range of activities. It is a popular venue and we advice any potential booking enquiries be made well in advance.

Current capacity for the main hall is 120 people, for the Centre as a whole 150 people.

Great Ashby Community Centre Management Association (GACCMA) was legally formed as a limited registered company in October 2006 and were awarded charitable status and registered as a charity with the Charity Commission in December 2006.  

The Community Centre aims to provide a balanced and vibrant community facility offering a wide range of community facilities to the residents of Great Ashby and beyond.

The Centre is the focal point of community activity and plays host to a number of voluntary projects and community groups. The facility is also available for hire for private parties and functions.
