Weekend Set Rates:

• Parties:

The Main Hall, Small Hall and kitchen may be hired for children’s or family parties, on Saturdays and Sundays, for a five-hour period; contact the Centre Manager, tel: (01438 365392) for details of the hire and bond rates; 

Hire for 18th and 21st birthday parties will only be considered if they are to be family occasions, and to be appropriately supervised. The Centre will require details of those who are to supervise the event, at the time of booking. The Centre may require a higher Bond than shown in the published schedule of rates.

• Christening:

The Main Hall, Small Hall and kitchen may be hired for Christening Celebration, on a Sunday afternoon, for a five-hour period from 12.30pm; contact the Centre Manager, tel: (01438 365392) for details of the hire and bond rates;

Bar Facilities

The Centre does not hold a licence to sell alcohol. Where require an administration of charge of £5 will apply for the arrangement of a Mobile Bar facility. The cost of the Mobile Bar is to be met separately by the hirer. Note – The Centre does not provide drinking glasses.

Room Capacities

Main Hall 120 people Small Hall 50 people maximum, seated for meetings. (This room is unsuitable as a sole room for parties.) Both Halls (Combined Booking) 150 people.

Storage

The Centre can provide limited storage space via cupboards in the Kitchen and the dedicated Storage Room. Please discuss with Centre Staff regarding availability / hire rates.

The main hall and small hall can be hired together or separately – although the small hall is not suitable on its own for parties –  and the kitchen can also be hired with either.

The Centre is an ideal venue for family parties and community events. It is also hired on a regular weekly basis – both during the daytime and in the evenings – by groups and organisations covering a wide range of activities. It is a popular venue and we advice any potential booking enquiries be made well in advance.

Current capacity for the main hall is 120 people, for the Centre as a whole 150 people.

Great Ashby Community Centre Management Association (GACCMA) was legally formed as a limited registered company in October 2006 and were awarded charitable status and registered as a charity with the Charity Commission in December 2006.  

The Community Centre aims to provide a balanced and vibrant community facility offering a wide range of community facilities to the residents of Great Ashby and beyond.

The Centre is the focal point of community activity and plays host to a number of voluntary projects and community groups. The facility is also available for hire for private parties and functions.
